About the practice
The Mindful Center for Individual, Couple and Family Therapy offers high quality therapy services. We use methods that have been proven to work, adapted to your unique person and life circumstances. Some of the methods we use in therapy include: EMDR Somatic-based and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy Integrative and Transpersonal Therapy Relational psychotherapy Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy Gottman-Based Couples Therapy Attachment-Based, Strategic, and Multidimensional Family Therapy Some of the classses and groups we offer: Cultivating Emotional Balance (originally initiated by the Dalai Lama through The Mind and Life Institute) Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (evidence-based treatment for depression) Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (evidenced-based treatment for stress) We aim to serve people across our diverse community so are aware and sensitive to various diversity issues. For many of our services, we utilize a generosity-based sliding scale where we ask you to pay the most that you can that feels good and comfortable for you so that we may serve people across the socio-economic spectrum and remain sustainable.
